Description:
Round wood barrel lid. Spruce, hemlock or fir. Center seam on diameter glued. Hole (1.5 inches in diameter) drilled through lid about 0.75 inch from edge. Varnish and wax on side opposition from printing and around edge.
Inscription: "P. E. HARRIS / HAWK INLET / ALASKA".

Collected and preserved by Thomas S. Parke, likely from abandoned Hawk Inlet cannery or surrounding area.
