Double Beam Balance
A: Balance
Bottom part is enclosed brown metal case with pull out drawer. There is a knob on the front and a turn crank on the right side. It stands on four small legs (adjustable?). The top of this section is black stone. Top brown metal case with glass sides. The front and back panels slide up to open. The top is metal with glass window. There is a tag, on the right side that says: 21158. The tops of four screws can be seen. The top and bottom of the sliding panels are lined with green felt. Inside the case, are two balances. The one further back is a silver bar with a balance beam that leads into two scales. The second, is a black beam that has a band that runs around it entering into the floor and going back to the top. This is where the known weight was placed. There is a gold weight placed on this part.
B: Glass Dish
Round glass dish with square handle coming off of one side. The middle slops down to form a concave surface. The # '23' is scratched into the handle of the dish.
C: Glass Dish
Round glass dish with square handle coming off of one side. The middle slops down to form a concave surface. Their are scratches in the dip. The # '23' is scratched into the handle of the dish.
