Description:
Short cardboard box with lid printed in gold, blue, and red inks reading "Wilson's Certified Brand Sliced Bacon" within a large capital "W". All four sides of the lid are also printed, including "Keep in a cool place" and "US inspected and passed by Department of Agriculture". Both sides of box are made entirely by folding without adhesive. A is the lid, B is the bottom tray. Bits of holiday wrapping paper with holly leaves and berries adhere to upper PR corner of lid.
Notes:
Found in attic of donor's mother's house at 544 West 12th Street———built in late 1930's.
