Oval shaped wire mouse trap

Description:
Oval wire mousetrap with flat bottom. Mouse enters through coil of wire at one end and proceeds through wire funnel; its weight opens a small trap door, allowing mouse to pass into large chamber. A counterweight (rolled wire) causes trap door to close again. Door in far end of trap can be opened with a handle sticking out the top of trap for removal of mice. Wires held in place along five strips of metal the length of the trap. Trap is roughly the size of a football.
Notes:
Found in attic of donor's mother's house (behind chimney). House at 544 W 12th St. Built in late 1930's.
