Altimeter
Small black plastic box with round glass plate in center. Under the plate, one can see the instrument. A green sticker that says: "2" and is stuck to the glass. On the front and back sides, there is an opening through which a grated metal wheel can be seen. Attached to the top is an orange shoe lace.

Used to determine elevation, which can be plotted on a map.
Notes:
Used by geologists in the field to help them determine altitude for surveying and prospecting purposes.
