Description:
Rectangular green metal box in two halves connected by six latches with opposing crank handles extending from sides that feature free—moving black painted wooden cylinders at ends. Round metal receptacle on bottom with nine holes for plug. Screws extend from two sides to hold plug fast. Rounded top has metal label "Signal Corps US Army Generator GN 58" and lists voltage, amps, and manufacturer. Various hooks, screws, and tabs for attaching and/or carrying generator to other equipment.
