Description:
Very stiff men's rubber insulated mountaineering boots. Boots black with flat white soles, minimal tread, red tongue, collar, and stripes. Five pairs of lacing holes made of metal tabs and eight pairs of speed laces on each. High ankle with laces nearly to toe. "S" logo at back of heel.

Width strap marks on tongue matches width of creeper straps (2003.21.021 A—B). Used for Juneau Icefield Research Project.
