Description:
Heavy round rough—textured iron weights varying in width and weight. They have slot through center and cut—out curved section halfway through. Too heavy to tag individually. All are 12.5 inches in diameter and average 0.875 inches to 3.5 inches thick.
Notes:
Found in collections in Last Chance Mining Museum. (Compressor Building). These objects were acquired when city purchased Alaska Juneau Gold Mining Co. properties in 1974 from AEL&P who had purchased the properties from Alaska Juneau Gold Mining Co. in 1972.

There are actually 11 of these plates marked in the exhibit area, A through K, two more than indicated by the object catalog record. I didn't follow up on it. Field, Addison 08/31/2011.
