A— 8 foot by 11 foot 11 inches generator bolted to concrete platform with two round objects. One holds continuous rope. 12—strand rope attached to 10 foot 6 inch diameter spoked wheel. Wheel surrounded by massive equipment at opposite end. Bolted horizontally behind. Above wheel is long cylindrically shaped object.
B — Compressor is 12 feet x 13 feet.
Inscription: A — "General Electric Co."
B — "Ingersol Rand"
Notes:
Found in collections in Last Chance Mining Museum. (Compressor Building). These objects were acquired when city purchased Alaska Juneau Gold Mining Co. properties in 1974 from AEL&P who had purchased the properties from Alaska Juneau Gold Mining Co. in 1972.
