Description:
Souvenier Spoon. Small, sterling silver souvenier spoon. Printed on the neck at front : "JUNEAU ALASKA." View of Mendenhall Glacier with the words "MENDENHALL'S GLACIER," on the flat end of the spoon. On the reverse at the base of the neck is a manufacturers logo that consists of a crossed shovel and pick with the letters "J, E, T" printed (proper right to left) between the implements. Above the logo on the neck is printed: "STERLING."
Notes:
Addison Field won the spoon in a drawing at a meeting of the Gastineau Channel Historical Society. The spoon was a part of the personal collection of June Hall and donated to the GCHS for a door prize.
