Description:
9—inch by 5.75—inch by 5—inch phone is Bakelite, black, no dial but paper glued to round area in front with label in center [blank]. Attached to 9—inch by 9.25—inch by 5.5—inch box by long black cord. Box is wooden, hinged front screwed shut, black metal handle on side turns and produces ring. Metal black plate on front has ventilation holes; several thin wires come out of back.
Notes:
Used in the Peterson/Olson family home to talk to other families in their homes out the road. (Mink farming era, post WWII).
