Description:
Horizontal, rectangular oil painting on canvas. Canvas is affixed to unevenly cut masonite and overhangs slightly at left and right sides. Scene depicts large rock in right foreground next to waterway. Moose wades in water, mountain range in background. Several flattened creases in lower left corner. Corners of canvas worn and fraying. Small paint losses along left and right edges. Varnished with damar varnish.
