Small Red Painted Russian (Chinese) Chest

Description:
Small red Russian (Chinese) camphorwood chest with red leather covering decorated with floral designs in white. Blue and green paint and decorative brass tack trim with brass rail edging. Chest has two brass hinges at the back and a brass device at the PR interior side to hold it open. Brass loop at lid front and brass lock at front center of chest. Simple brass handles at sides for carrying. Leather makes a lip around from three edges to overlap with bottom. Back of chest is mostly bare wood with some scraps of red leather at top. Interior is plain.
