A: Clipboard
Metal clip board. On the front is a brown leather pouch with white stiching — holds pens, pencils, rulers, etc. Five metal tacks (3 on top — 2 on bottom) hold the pouch onto the clipboard. In the upper left corner "GFELLER / CASEMAERS / BOISE, IS / 83714—USA" is written. Along the top, "USBM" is written in black marker. To the right of the pouch is a round green sticker with the number 13 on it. The bottom of the clip board flips open via hinges at the top. "USBM" is written in black marker on the back of the cover.

B: Ruler
Beige ruler. Inches on one side, centimeters on the other. Has the U.S. Department of The Interior / Bureau of Land Management Logo in the middle on left. Says "REDISCOVER YOU PUBLIC LANDS / 1946—1996"

C: Blue Pencil
Blue lead pencil. Says "DIXON Sense—a—mark 2100"

D: Pink pencil
Pink lead pencil. Says "'Save Our Habitat Earth — / Security for the Earth' / Environmental Management / Kirtland Air Force Base / New Mexico"

E: Brown Colored Pencil
Brown colored pencil. Says "DE IN U.S.A. DIXON BEST BROWN—343"

F: Mechanical Pencil
Brown mechanical pencil. Says "U.S. Government"

G: Green Colored Pencil
Green colored pencil. Says "COLORAY FaberCastell"
Notes:
"Great for swatting mosquitoes." — per Chris DeWitt, Director of the Juneau John Reishel Mineral Information Center.
Used to hold pens, pencils, rulers, paper, etc. It allows for easier writing and other note talking in field.
