Object Name:
bottle, perfume
Description:
A large, perfume bottle which was actually used as a store advertisement and not actually for perfume. There is still liquid inside the bottle, but it is not perfume, but some sort of colored liquid. The bottle itself is composed of two parts. The bottle is a cubed—shaped clear glass bottle with beveled edges and a short wide opening with a ground glass finish on the inside. A paper label on the front says, "No 5 Chanel". The stopper is made of clear glass and is composed of a ground glass flange and octagonal shaped handle that can only be described as "gem shaped". Embossed on the bottom of the bottle is, "Chanel", "Bottle" and "Made in France".
Notes:
This is a "factice" (Fak—TEEZ) bottle of the kind used for display at drugstores and department stores. Considered collectable. Seen on the internet by Ellen Carrlee
