Title:
souvenir spoon with flag, seal of territory of alaska, 49th state on back
Description:
A small, metal souvenir spoon with an elaborate design on the handle. Beginning at the end, there is a depiction of the state of Alaska with the state flag in the middle. Below is a bouquet of forget—me—nots with the label, "State Flower Forget—Me—Not". Below the flowers is the state seal of Alaska and below that is a gold pan with a crossed spade and pick below the pan. Then there is a label of, "Alaska" and the design ends with a small totem pole. On the back is a statement, "49. State Admitted to the Union Jan. 3, 1959". Then there is a logo of a crossed spade and pick with the letters, "E", "J" and "T" and the word, "sterling".
