Souvenir spoon with large totem pole as handle
Description:
A small, metal souvenir spoon with a totem pole design as the handle. On the back is a label, "Alaska Totem Pole" and a logo of a crossed spade and pick with the letters, "J" and "M" and the word, "sterling".
Notes:
According to June Hall, this spoon was the MOST common of all the souvenir spoons in Alaska, partly because it represented a real totem pole that was easily accessible. Mark of crossed tools indicates handle was made by Towle
