Description:
Wood Engraving Block
Two—sided woodblock. One side has a scene of a duck resting on a the water. The duck has a long beak, white neck and face and a darker body. The scene is surrounded by a dark border with rounded interior edges. A dark brown stain is used on top of a lighter wood base.

The flip side has a raven in flight. A fish hangs out his mouth and his beak is opened almost as if in a smile. A man's face is carved in the bottom right—hand corner of the frame and he looks on in distress. The raven takes up almost the whole of the woodblock and looks to be flying toward the upper right—hand corner of the frame. A dark brown stain is also used with this carving

On the bottom edge of the woodcut, 'Duck' is written in black ink and an arrow points up to the duck scene. On the side edge, a white rectangular sticker says $250.
