Description:
Squat ceramic jar with sloping shoulder and very wide neck. Ledge below rim likely accommodated a lid, now gone. Very small triangular handles on shoulder have perforations to allow a handle of wire or rope. Buff—colored ceramic has grey glaze with craquelure. Bottom unglazed.

Found by donor at either Perseverance or Sheep's Creek Mine.
