Description:
Cloth patch in the shape of the letter "J". Patch is red with black felt outline. In the lower proper left side of the J's curve there is a black felt downhill skier sewn on to the patch with red thread. On the main neck of the J are two yellow—gold bars with black outlines. The back is black felt and with a red thread outline of the "J". At the top of "J" there is a white ink stamp. The stamp is a double circle. Inside the inner circle there are the monogrammed letters "LC". In between the circles is the text: "LOWE & CAMPBELL / ATHLETIC".
Notes:
Lowe and Campbell Athletic Goods was a sports equipment manufacturer and retailer based in Kansas City, Missouri until 1931 when it was acquired by Wilson Sporting Goods.
