Description:
Landscape oil on panel painting by Harris. Painting features a canoe at center. The canoe is floating on calm water inside a cove. Green mountains extend upward from the coast on the proper left. The lower proper right corner of the painting has a grouping of trees. In the distant background there is a lone snow capped mountain peak surrounded by clouds. There are five people sitting in the canoe,. The two at each end have paddles, while the three at center do not. Painting is in a wooden frame. In the lower proper left corner in black paint is the name "HARRIS" and the date "1927". The date is beneath the name and the name is underlined.
Notes:
Artist is Fred Harris, grandson of Richard Harris co—founder of Juneau, Alaska. Fred Harris was a sign painter in Juneau.

Mountain in painting may be Mount Edgecombe near Sitka, Alaska.
