Scott Atwater made outboards which were sold by Firestone.
This particular outboard arrived in Juneau in the 1970s. Donor was given the outboard as a gift, from a man who left his sailboat here during the winter. Donor initially used it sidemounted on a canoe, but it was too powerful. He used it periodically for a short while in the 70s on a 17' Grumman skiff.
