Description:
Patchwork blanket with brown and yellow border.
Hand quilted with a nine patch block, at center is a solid colored block. Triangles of color are arrayed around the center block, these triangles are of patterned textile. Back of quilt is plain white cotton.
Notes:
According to the documentation it was made by Lou Virdie Allen (Patrict) between 1902 and 1907 when she was 25 — 30 years old and living in Pella, Iowa.

Possibly dress fabric, using a pattern from a magazine.

The number 14 refers to the quilts identifier in the 1992 Alaska Quilt Survey.
