Patchwork blanket with a peach colored border.
Quilt is handstitched and quilted with two basic blocks. One block is a 9 patch block of colors. The second block is a 5 patch block with the center being very large white patch with a triangular, colored patch at each corner. Back of quilt is plain white cotton.

According to the documentation it was made by Lou Virdie Allen (Patrict) between 1902 and 1907 when she was 25 — 30 years old and living in Pella, Iowa.
