Rectangular cardboard match box with 2 metal ends. Cardboard brown, metal ends brass colored. 2.25 inches by 1.35 inches label on top metal lid. Label blue with red and white trim and printing. Script on label: "INDEPENDENCE / SAFETY MATCH / MADE IN U.S.A. / AMERICA'S OWN MATCH CO."
Red printing on front and back of box: "12 BOXES — MATCHES, SAFETY". Red line surrounds box w/ "TO OPEN CUT ALONG MARK" printed below line on front and back of box.
