Description:
Irregular shaped, gold and sulfide mineral sample of petzite and native gold in quartz. The mineral sample is primarily reddish—brown and grayish—black in color with smaller sections of white impurities. One side of the mineral sample has been sliced to reveal a smooth texture which is primarily grayish—black in color. The cut side also reveals metallic streaks with are grayish—black in color. The remaining edges are rough with unsliced sides.
