A—B — Tin box with four rolled corner seams. Painted red with white lettering. Removable lid with tapered corners.
C — Literature folded in thirds and then in half containing "Warnings & Don'ts". Some instructions written on four sides of box
D — Ticket with "IDENTIFICATION" & "TICKET" printed in black ink and number, "BA19" perforated.
E—H — Four 2.0625 inches by 1.3125 inches orange—stained pieces of cardboard.
I — Contains gray felt lines.
Inscription: "100 NO. 6 BLASTING CAPS / DUPONT (company name in oval) / REG. U.S. PAT. OFF. / MANUFACTURED EXPRESSLY FOR / E.I.DUPONT NE NEMOUR & COMPANY / WILMINGTON, DEL., U.S.A. / UNDER U.S. PAT NO. 1,964,825" written on lid

Given to donor by Art Walther, who had worked in the Alaska Juneau Gold Mining Co. mines and also for the City Police force. "Hard Rock Gold" by David Stone gives photos and biographical sketch on pg 83, (copy in file).
