Long metal rod with flat metal piece attached to the head.

Used with the muffle furnace. If there was a crucible that split, spilling slag into the furnance, the muffle would be sprinkled with bone ash and this tool would be used to scrape it clean again. Could also be used to push cupels into the furnance.
