Scorifier pouring Tongs
One end if the tongs is a 'u' shape. From the 'u' are two arms, one that is a straight rod that ends in a 'U' in which the scorifier would have been held. There is a fair amount of chemical residue on this. The other arm is a straight rod that extends over the 'U' shaped arm and helps to hold the scorifier in place. There is some chemical residue on this arm too.
Used to put scorifers into and take them out of the muffle furnace during the fire assay process.
