Pouring Tongs
Long gray metal tongs. One end is forked to hold crucibles. The other end is a closed oval. There is a wire that extends from the oval end. The wire ascends up over the the forked end.

Used to pick up and move cupel dishes or roasting dishes into and out of the muffle furnace, and for pouring the contents out of a charged crucible and into a button mold.
Notes:
The flat arm of the tongs goes over the top of the crucible.
