Description:
Blue gingham background with 12 panels — three across, four rows down, of appliqued and embroidered designs showing local flora and fauna on white backgrounds. Hand—stitched through quilting material to light blue lining. Designs include, left to right, top to bottom: Flying geese, Canada goose, three gulls, puffy flowers, Stellar's jay, fox, ducks, two shore birds, duck, whale's tail, blue heron, loon.
Inscriptions: "Brant K" embroidered in top row, left panel in black thread. "Isabel McLean" embroidered in third row in green thread.

Purchased from the "Artabon for Audabon" auction via Fran Ulmer. Different squares made by Isabel McLean, Mary Lou King and others.
