Beryllim Detector or Berylometer
A — Impulse Counter — Blue painted metal box with an identification plate and two dials on the top. Printed in black ink on the identification plate at proper right is the type number: "1200 I.C." and the Serial Number: "112." The counter is set at center top and is set to "0000".

B — Discriminator — Blue painted metal cylinder with an identification and instrument plate on top. On the top plate is written "Berylometer." It is a type number 1200—P. Its serial number is: 112. On the bottom half of the identification plate there are three instruments. There is a receptacle for an output cable, a "Discriminator" dial and an Off/On switch.

C — Case — Brown metal case, painted red on the inside. On the outside of the case there are numerous transportation related stickers on all sides.

D — Wire — Gray colored wire with two male ends. The plastic covering for the ends is red.

E — Berylometer Tag — Manila tag attached to the proper left latch of the case by a piece of cotton string. Tag is written on: "Berylometer, SN 112, P/N 80039"

F — US Nuclear Tag — Yellow paper tag that says " U.S. Nuclear Corporation, PO Box 208 801 N. Lake Street, Burbank, California"
Notes:
Used by geologists in the field to detect for beryllium. It is a portable instrument that uses the principle of gamma—ray activation to detect and analyze for the presence of beryllium in the field.
