Description:
Metal bottle opener with two holes (one at top and one at bottom) for attachment to wall. Formed of three pieces of metal:
1 — Wall bracket
2 — Base
3 — Rotating opener
Base and opener are painted green; bracket painted yellow with green printed lettering. Bracket curves away from edges, touching support only at edges. Top has some convex decoration in metal.
Inscription: "Sanitary Grocery / GUNNAR BLOMGREN, Prop. / Staple and Fancy Groceries / Fruits and Vegetables / Phones 83 and 85 / JUNEAU, ALASKA" on bracket.
Notes:
Donor found in footlocker in attic of one of wings, left by previous tenant.
Sanitary Grocery may have been at 233 Front Street.
