Description:
Boxed child's combination wood—burning and foil engraving set. Box is cardboard with six interior partitions. Lid has 6.125 inches by 8.3125 inches opening in center with adhesive stains from missing cellophane window. Box contains four wood—burned pictures, one which has small calendar attached with date of 1941, with rolls of foil and plastic, electric cord, metal burning tip, printed instructions and embossed drawing on foil—mounted mat board.
A — Box bottom, including divider and panels separating box into three sections (four raised)
B — Box lid
C — Cardboard panel 6.25 inches by 8.375 inches, separated at perforations form center box lid.
D — Catalog sheet 8.50 inches by 11.0 inches of additional kits of replacement items.
E — Cord with plug and two cork rings. Carving tool missing.
F — Embossing(?) tip.
G — 3.0 inches long, 1.125 inches diameter roll of purple "foil". Closed with transparent tape. Initials "A.L.O." inside.
H — 3.0 inches long, 1.125 inches diameter roll of green "foil". Closed with transparent tape. Initials "A.L.O." visible.
I — 3.0 inches long, 1.125 inches diameter roll of orange "foil". Closed with transparent tape. Initials "A.L.O." and "L.O." visible.
J — 3.0 inches long, 1.125 inches diameter roll of silver "foil". Transparent tape at end. Various writings on foil.
K — Set of four paint dishes, (red, blue, green, yellow) attached to 1.0 inch by 6.0 inch orange cardboard strip and paint brush.
L — 3.5 inches by 5.5 inches cardboard plaque, black cardboard, gold foil, black and green ink design of tropical fish and plants.
M — 9 .875 inches by 3.5 inches wood burned plaque, yellow rabbit, blue background, red frame, with 1.75 inches by 2.5 inches 1941 paper calendar at bottom.
N — 4.5 inches by 3.25 inches wood—burned plaque of apple. "By A.L.O." at bottom.
O — 5.25 inches by 3.25 inches wood—burned plaque, fish, red eye. "By A.L.O." on back.
P — 6.125 inches by 4 .375 inches partially wood—burned plaque "Poky Hantas".
Q — 6.125 inches by 4.375 inces wood—burned plaque. "Big Chief Uh—Huh", "A.L."
Inscription: C — "Ever—Ready Wood Burning, Carving, Metal Tapping Set and Foil Writing" on panel.
