A — sleeveless red jumper with square neckline, full circle skirt, vertical darts and side zipper has five black felt musical notes down left side. About size 8 — 10.

Notes:
Worn by donor. Donor was one of two song queens for three consecutive years in high school. First two years they wore skirts and sweaters, but third year Dixie Lee Tandy and donor had costumes made on treadle sewing machine which Amey Messerschmidt, donor's mother, gave to Muriel Milne Chapman. Dress was worn with white peter pan collared blouse, bobby socks and saddle shoes.
It is pictured on page 19 of the 1950 "TOTEM", which was taken by Gil Eide, official photographer for Juneau High School publications, and science teacher.
