Description:
Wooden box painted dark green w/ slanted black labeled "WIND SPEED" & " WIND DIRECTION" with "on" / "off" switches. Residue of tape between switches covers "___ MILE SCALE". Metal plate below: "SIGNAL CORPS US ARMY WIND PANEL HL—204—B". Black panel hinged at bottom, opens to several space for four "D" batteries, six knobs and six unattached lengths of wire. Slots in two sides of box near base, two small holes on sides of back panel. Joinery is tongue—and—groove and flatheads screws. Written in marker on top: "Hinges in generator shed". Dark green paint overall.
