Description:
Military phone in rectangular upright stiff canvas bag. Canvas carrying strap with buckle attaches to "D" ring on proper right, wraps underneath to proper right. Side flap from proper right covers top and snaps down above strap on proper left. Top flap covers side flap, snaps in front. Fold—up crank on proper left below strap. Center front stencilled in black ink: "SIGNAL CORPS US ARMY TELEPHONE EE 8 B" . Inside proper left, heavy electrical element with space for two "D"size batteries. Lever for Morse Code on top, several large screws and knobs on top. Black receiver attached by three wires at end of card. Handset has "butterfly" switch and inscription "H22 A/U" . Inside flap of canvas" "HQ—20" written large in black paint.
