Description:
Decorative Tray.
Brass tray with a deer antler tacked to the upper edge. Tray appears to be brass, repoussee texture to metal work. Top of the tray is has a silver coating. Along the top edge of the tray is a deer antler. Antler is attached with three brass tacks . Antler is engraved with the following: "Fish Trap Point / 9.3.56."
Notes:
Object was accompanied by a typed label that says: "Tool for separating fold (sic) from sand and crushed rock. Alaska Juneau Gold Mine. The silvery coating is murcury (sic) which was used to catch the gold dust." This label doesn't appear to correlate to the object. Label is in the accession file.

Appears to be "Albert Berry" in style.
