Description:
Animal snare. Single 30 inches long braided, approximately size 14 wire. Metal crips and brackets on each end of wire. 1 inch by 1.25 inch bracket at other end of wire is bent in off—center arc and has 1 holes and slit cut out which allows wire to slide through bracket.
Notes:
Collected and preserved by Thomas S. Parke in northern SE Alaska, likely from abandoned homestead, fox farm or just in woods. Part of trap collection of T.S. Parke.
