Description:
Cream—colored cotton duck (canvas) with worn flannel liner. Bill on front. Rectangular iron bracket with salmon—colored cardboard insert attached to top and bill with four grommets, used to hold carbide lamp.
Notes:
Charles Merrill, Jr. estate collection. Charles received his degree in mining from UAF in the 1950s and worked for USBM in Alaska most of his life. Died in October 1991. University of Alaska was known as "School of Agriculture & Mining".
