Jaw Type Animal Trap No. 15, Teeth

Description:
Jaw type animal trap. 8 inch jaw opening, 4 inch diameter plate on release mechanism. Four opposing teeth, two on each side, on underside of jaws. Spring mechanism composed of two 14 inch spring arms, one on each side of jaw. Jaws held to trap base with four 1 inch stove bolts. Trap release arm 4.25 inches long, base arm 2 inches by 11.5 inches.
Inscription: Embossed on release mechanism plate, rusty and difficult to read: "NO 15" in center of plate.
"NEWHOUSE" around upper edge of plate.
"ONEIDA COMMUNITY, N.Y." around lower edge of plate.
