Description:
Open can of military C—rations. Can opens with key supplied on base, interior lined with corrugated waxed paper. Can is "A".
B) Metal tin of grape jam labeled "punch through on lids and pry out".
C) Cocoa beverage powder in compressed cake wrapped in plastic. "Crumble thoroughly in palm before opening". Made by Nestle.
D) "Pure soluble coffee" in plastic packet.
E) "Soluble milk (for coffee or tea) " in plastic packet.
F) "Sugar granulated" in paper packet.
Notes:
Four small pilot bread style crackers in good condition were not retained for permanent collection, but saved for synthetic duplication to be made for exhibit. See donor file for information on C—rations.
