Green bottle with Metal Lid for McKesson's Saltpeter.
Green bottle with a tan metal lid and a tan label. Surface of the bottle is textured. On the bottom of the bottle is a raised icon depicting a chemist's balance. The label is tan paper with red writing. At center is printed: "McKesson's / SALTPETER / (POTASSIUM NITRATE N.F.) / SMALL CRYSTALS / DIURETIC FOR ANIMALS / CONTENTS 4 OUNCES / PACKAGED & DISTRIBUTED BY / McKESSON & ROBBINS, INCORPORATED NEW YORK, N.Y. BRIDGEPORT, CONN."
On the reverse of the label are printed directions for use.
The metal cap is tan with a circular red logo on the top. Logo depicts a chemist's scale flanked by leaves and says : "McKESSON QUALITY SINCE 1833".

A diuretic for use on horses, cattle, dogs, cats, sheep, pigs, and other domestic animals.
