Fire department badge.
Gold colored, stamped metal, maltese cross style, pin back badge. Overall shape is circular with four leaves. At center is a raised number "1" in silver coloring. Four leaves radiate off of the central circle. At top is printed the word "JUNEAU" in black lettering. In the leaf at proper left is a crossed ladder and hook. At bottom is printed the letters "F.D." On the leaf at proper right is the image of a fire hydrant.

Notes:
Badge was brought in by Jim Carroll, he said that it once belonged to Katherine Shaw's husband George(?). She give them to the Juneau Volunteer Fire Deparment Association who gave them to the Museum.
