Lithographic print 14.25 inches by 16.375 inches, sight black and white. View from water shows complex of structures on pilings and millworks on mountainside. Mountain in left background. Boats at piers in lower right. Enclosed tunnel on trestles enters top floor of six—tiered mill to left, exits at opposite side and continues off right side. Power line leads away from complex over lower left side of mountain ridge. Black inner mat, white outer mat; antique silver finished wood frame with glass.
Inscription: Workshop chop in lower right.
"Byron Birdsall" signature in lower left, in pencil.
"PRESENTATION PROOF" in lower right, in pencil.

Hand printed by Guitto Corey 4—23—84. Presentation proof of edition of 50 numbered impressions and 10 proofs, including 1 presentation proof, 5 artists proofs, 1 museum impression and1 record impression. All other proofs and impressions have been destroyed and stone effaced. Lithograph portrays buildings of the Alaska—Juneau Gold Mine on Gastineau Channel and side of Mt. Roberts. The A.J. Mill burned in 1965.
