Description:
Carved wooden mask of face with seven feathers at top: two green, two red, one yellow and one white with black tips. Eyes have holes drilled through center and are inset with abalone. Eyebrows have small face in profile, facing center. White teeth and red tongue show in open red mouth. Brown nostrils and ears. Above nostrils and ears, rawhide thong threaded through drilled holes and secured with knots. Mask is hung from thong. Mask also decorated with blue, brown, yellow, and black paint. Surface is unvarnished.
Inscription: "Made by Willie Marks / Juneau Alaska" in pencil on back.
