Large, heavy, black, rough—textured container. Bulbous at base. Tapers to 7—inch opening with 1—inch sheared lip.
Notes:
Tom Pittman (Bureau of Mines) says items are refinery crucibles. (Retort crucibles are metal and used for retorting mercury) #10 size crucibles from Alaska Juneau Gold Mining Co. receiving warehouse on S. Franklin. Stored since 1930's.
