Heritage Coffee Bag, "Obama Blend."
Silver foil bag. On the front is a paper adhesive sticker. The sticker says "OBAMA BLEND / JANUARY 20TH 2009 / PRESIDENT / BARACK OBAMA." At center is an image of President Obama in two shades of blue, red and white. Beneath this image is a "Heritage Coffee Company" logo.
On the reverse is a paper label with a Heritage Coffee logo at top. Beneath that is an explanation of the coffee blend sold inside. Beneath that is contact informtion for the company. At the bottom of the logo are three logos, the logo at proper right is for the Rainforest Alliance. At center is a Fair Trade logo and at proper left is a Made in Alaska logo.
Notes:
Coffee is a blend of Kenyan beans in an homage to President Obama's Kenyan heritage.
January 20, 2009 was the inauguration date.
The multi—colored image of Obama used on the front became an iconic representation of the hope for a better future that propelled him into office with the slogan "Yes We Can."
