A — Rectangular cardboard box in white with blue lettering and borders, holding 6 pcs — 3 each of 2 types. Flints are identified as style #172, originally containing 1 dozen and made in U.S.A.
B — Pieces include 3 brass jets with ceramic centers; 2 brass and 1 steel pins with rotating flint wheel.
Inscription: On front/back: "MADE IN USA / JUSTRITE / FLINTS / FOR / MINERS LAMPS / ONE NO. 172 DOZEN"
On sides and end flaps: "NO. 172 — FLINTS — 1 DOZ."
