Description:
Olive to gray on exterior with showing orange coloring. Interior is shiny white with muscle scars on both ends. Concentric rings outside.
A — 2.75 inches by 2 inches by .5 inch showing yellow
B—C — 1.625 inches by 1.25 inches by .375 inch.
Notes:
"Irus" changed to inquinata". Questionable I.D. per Wing.
Donor's label reads: "Macoma (Gastrana)irus — "Iris macoma" Bering Sea to Los Angeles, California. Japan. It is most common in Washington and Oregon. The pink clams are young of Macoma irus...small, hardy species 2 1/2"
